When Big Feelings Take Over: A Free Webinar for Parents

Does your child fall apart over homework? Melt down when plans change? Shut down completely when they are overwhelmed?
This free one-hour webinar is designed for parents who want to understand what is actually happening in their child's brain during those moments — and what to do instead of reasoning, bribing, or waiting it out alone.
What we will cover:
In this session, our clinical team at The Safe Space will walk you through the neuroscience of the child stress response in plain language, the difference between a tantrum and genuine emotional dysregulation, what co-regulation is and how to use it at home, and three practical strategies you can apply immediately.
Who this is for:
Parents and caregivers of children aged 4 to 12 in Sri Lanka and beyond. No prior knowledge of psychology required. This session is designed to be accessible, practical, and immediately useful.
Format:
60-minute live Zoom session with 15 minutes of Q&A at the end. A recording will be shared with all registered attendees within 48 hours.
This event is completely free. Reserve your spot using the registration link above.
