The Team Behind The Work
At The Safe Space, every team member is chosen not only for their psychological expertise, but for something harder to define: the ability to be fully present with another person’s story and nervous system responses. Together, under structured supervision, we work toward outcomes that extend beyond the session room.
Zahra Iram Masud
Founder & Trauma-Informed Psychologist
Her work is grounded in one belief: psychological safety comes first. With over a decade of experience, Zahra supports children, adults, schools, and organisations in understanding the effects of trauma, chronic stress, and emotional regulation difficulties on everyday life, relationships, learning, and performance. Using a neuroscience-informed and evidence-based approach, she combines psychology, somatic practices, and social-emotional learning to create practical, outcome-focused support. She is also the founder of the Building Blocks of Resilience (BBR) framework, a trauma-informed model designed to strengthen emotional regulation, engagement, and connection.

Her vibrant, assertive energy helps children feel safe, seen, and genuinely engaged, while her ability to connect with people from different backgrounds has been foundational to TSSG’s community reach. Through both individual and group work, she helps children build emotional skills, confidence, and meaningful connection.
